Head Chair, Moon Siyeon
Deputy Chair, Kim Won Joon

Head Chair

Si Yeon Moon

Honorable delegates, directors, and all of you participating in KISMUN 2021, My name is Moon Siyeon, and it is my pleasure to serve you as the head chair of WHO.
If you are a new delegate who will participate in KISMUN for the first time or have a few experiences in MUN, you would probably feel nervous about everything related to MUN including what you are reading now, which is just a greeting from chairs. You might constantly think about what your future conference will look like and feel anxious about making speeches and points of information. If you are really anxious about making mistakes in the committee, I have one piece of advice for you;
You should tell yourself that you must make at least one mistake during the conference. You feel anxious about doing something wrong because you think you must be perfect in MUN. That kind of thinking process will only make you unprepared for mistakes you make in the conference. Therefore, it is important to be aware that you will make mistakes in MUN.
If you are experienced delegates who have participated in MUN for a long time, I want you to think about your past conferences and what you should improve on while participating in KISMUN 2021. If you have something you wanted to try but were not able to do in the past conference, try it in KISMUN 2021. It will develop your skills as a delegate.
Lastly, don’t forget to enjoy your MUN experience. I am looking forward to meeting you at the conference!

Sincerely,
Siyeon Moon Head Chair of the World Health Organization,
KISMUN2021

Deputy Chair

Won Joon Kim

Greetings to all MUN participants of KISMUN 2021.
I'm Won Joon Kim, and it's an honor to serve you as the Deputy Chair of WHO (World Health Organization).
In the year 2019, I began participating in a program called MUN. I took part of KISMUN2019 as well, and everything was fully functional. Of course, I was also pretty anxious, so coming out in front and formally stating my views was not that simple. However, doing nothing while participating in MUN events was a waste of effort and time. Understandably, it is difficult for anyone to express their viewpoint in public. Nevertheless, I want to emphasize the fact that as long as each delegate has prepared competently, the results will follow.
The whole LDP membership, KISMUN 2021 staff may always be by your side. This convention is about delegates, staff cooperating and treating each other with respect. Every LDP member will do everything possible to ensure that all delegates have an efficient debate and discussion in each committee. To reach the ultimate goal of KISMUN, we are eagerly assisting one another.
Try your hardest, and show what you can do to lead by working together. It is inevitable to make mistakes and to have disagreements with your teammates. However, giving up and not participating is not an option. All or nothing. We all want you delegates to thrive and have a fine experience.
Wishing each and every one of you a wonderful experience.

Sincerely,
Kim Won Joon  Deputy Chair of the World Health Organization, KISMUN2021
